Job Description

Our client is an innovative international and industrial leader in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Chemicals sector for over 50 years. They are at the forefront in providing innovative and crucial specialty and OTC drugs; as well as in aiding research advancements in the field of Life Science. With a long and established reputation, they are looking for a veteran Manager to oversee their Supply Chain operations in Malaysia, Singapore and South-east Asia.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service - Manages and ensures standards are optimal, kept consistent and high satisfaction. Identify any improvement areas and actions.
  • Strategic Planning - Leads in the development of ideas and implementation of plans for strategic business and operational objectives in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to meet business objectives.
  • Inventory Management - Ensures optimal inventory investment within budget, and balances between cost impact on P&L. Partner with commercial team to define product life cycle and stock holding.
  • Vendor Management - Ensure vendor relationship is optimal and provide services in accordance to SLAs. Manages a healthy cost-efficient vendor services.
  • Budget Planning - Control cluster supply chain budget, ensuring fiscal accountability and policies are adhered to. Manages projecst within budget and priortising in accordance to forecast and plans.
  • Operation Excellence - Supports structures and reporting lines within cluster. Ensure strategies are in alignment with global goals. Directs work analysis and establish excellence in standards and perofmrances via monitoring and assesment of metrics. Leads best practices.
  • Business Process Improvement - Maximise strengths via efforts in improving work processes and opportunities across cluster.
  • People Management - Identifies and maximises team capabilities. Develops and trains team members; recognising and rewarding good performances. Create succession and developmental plans.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in SCM; preferably within Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health industry.
  • Minimum 6 years of management experience.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional
  • Degree in Supply Chain, or related fields
