Job Description

My client who is currently looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for leading a number of projects in the Infrastructure area of the Retail Programme. The Project Delivery Team is in a unique position to engage with all aspects of the business and as such an EMEA project manager is always learning and facing new challenges. As my client is a global shared service, this role has a very strong connection to the US and the Global Technology organization.

Working closely with Global Technology is critical to the success of this is role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects in the infrastructure area of the Retail programme. You must be a demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and with agreed- upon functionality, utilizing various Technology and project methodologies.

*Significant IT Project Management and construction experience. Specialist knowledge required
*You will bring an excellent understanding of all things Infrastructure including network, servers, storage, circuits, telephony, low voltage cabling, IT facilities including backup power, cooling, and fire suppression systems.
*Project management experience in the Technology department of a multinational organization
*Construction experience
*Excellent communication skills
*Appropriate project management qualifications (Prince / PMI)
*Either retail or FMCG experience
*Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and control
*Strong organizational capability
*Result driven approach to work
*Excellent interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder management
*Experience in requirements gathering and solution design from an Infrastructure standpoint
*Experience in sourcing from hardware/software vendors
*Demonstrable experience of working with 3rd party Infrastructure service providers
*Experience of working in the Technology department of a multinational organisation
*Strong experience in all areas of Supply Chain technology
*Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
*Demonstrable experience in delivering organisational change
*Strong experience in construction
*Experience in managing internal and external teams
*Experience in managing distributed teams in multiple time zones
