Our client is a leading consumer product company that has grown massively in the Thailand market in the last decade also Asia market as well. Their brands have served for consumers to a century. They have shown strength through being the market leader in numerous categories as well as having well known marketing campaigns. They are currently looking for a high caliber and passionate Marketing Director to lead their marketing team (more than 30 people).

Job Description

You are accountable for the following responsibilities:

  • Promotion Planning - Initiate and establish promotional grid (with Sales Management); provide guidance on timetable/execution Financial/P&L
  • Planning - Monthly budget updates; manage multiple P&L's
  • Advertising - Provide guidance on creative and media strategy, manage media spending for each brands
  • On-going Business - Manage existing business, work with trade marketing to help in the brainstorming of account-specific programs; develop contingency plans for volume needs
  • New Product Development - Oversee entire process; approval of launch plans, planogram strategies, concepts and PR plan; provide timetable/execution guidance
  • Managing and Developing Team- Responsible for Management of staff

Also in detail:

  • In collaboration with your marketing teams, lead a team of highly creative Brand/ Product Managers to establish and drive the execution of marketing strategy for assigned brands in local market
  • Develop the overall platform P&L for locally distributed bands and establish marketing budget and long-term vision and annual marketing plans to meet product revenue and profitability targets
  • Lead, create and oversee day-to-day excellence in marketing program execution to support all tactics on time and on budget. Lead in the development of the Trade Marketing Strategy and Execution to achieve defined business objectives across all brands and channels
  • Activate brand portfolio/ NPD on a Modern Trade/ Traditional Trade by securing incremental out of aisle and ad feature space, while creating sell through demand through integrated marketing activities

The Successful Applicant

  • You must be a degree holder who has strong understanding of the FMCG-Food Space category
  • You must have extensive experience more than 20 years in Marketing, Branding or Trade Marketing with great commercial mind-set and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret data and drive value-added market/ consumer insights, budget management and obtain good understanding of return on investment
  • Full proficiency in English and Thai are compulsory
