Job Description

Our client is a top tier insurance brokerage business with a specialty insurance product providing protection products to financial institution and large corporates on private equity and M&A transactions. To drive and continue the business growth of the Private Equity Merger & Acquisitions Practice, by expanding existing client relationships and acquiring new ones, they are looking to hire a high caliber individual to join the team providing coordination on insurance placement and sales support.


Sales and Relationship Development

  • Assists in retaining and expanding existing client relationships and acquiring new ones
  • Manages projects from cradle to grave including drafting reports and coaching support staff
  • Assists in develop a business plan for portfolio of clients and prospects
  • Oversees quality of deliverables and enforcing critical deadlines
  • Engages partners across the firm to utilize appropriate resources for initial and ongoing prospect meetings
  • Identifies key decision makers, clients or prospects risks needs and determines the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives


Project Management

  • Consistently demonstrates a devotion to client service and promotes best practices with respect to meeting the overall need of the client.

Sales and Relationship Development

  • Requires sales aptitude, communication skills, building and maintaining relationships, coordinating others, business acumen, strategic reasoning and a results focus. Possesses excellent and proven business skills with emphasis in organizational selling

Job Requirements:

  • Business Degree with at least 4-6 years' relevant (preferably insurance) experience
  • Hong Kong experience preferred
  • Possesses solid project management, business development, client management skills
  • Excellent people management, time management, communication (written and verbal), presentation and problem solving skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision at times
  • Ability to work in a high paced dynamic work environment
  • Ability to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of general instructions
  • Ability to tolerate high levels of stress and a stressful work environment
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines consistently
  • Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality with flexibility to work beyond standard work hours as required from time to time
