Our Client:

Our client is a prominent international asset management firm with an established business in the APAC region

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to senior regional management, you will take the lead in identifying and initiating projects to build effective collaboration as well as looking at ways to improve the efficiency of financial operations across the region. Your regional oversight, leadership and support will be critical to drive changes in finance operations in terms of efficiencies in profess and automation and the utilisation of best practice. Standardisation across the division is key ensure the best in class finance tools and systems are utilised to maximised accuracy, reporting standards and efficiency. There will be some interesting key deliverables which will include building MIS reports and implementing global accounting and reporting solutions across the region.

Key Requirements:

To be considered you will be a qualified accountant with 10 - 15 years of relevant experience which should ideally come from the asset management/funds sector although candidates from insurance and banking may be considered. You should have strong technical experience of IFRS Investment accounting and a good knowledge of IT processes and investment operations. Evidence of strong influencing skills and a strong record of driving success in a regional context will also be important. A track record of driving operational efficiencies through projects and initiatives will also be a critical requirement for the role. Strong people and project management skills will also be important in this role. Fluency in written and spoken English is critical, chinese preferred.
