Job Description

Our client is looking for a young CFO who can possibly grow into the role as well as be there long term and grow to be the successor to the current MD.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the other senior management to develop and execute corporate mission, vision, values and strategies
  • Attend board and audit committee meetings together with MD to present financial performance and outlook
  • Set financial budgets and goals for the group and subsidiaries as well as participate in KPI settings for related departments
  • Manage uses of funds and find the right sources of funds
  • Study and propose major investments and conduct post-audit evaluation
  • Monitor and control cash flows, financing costs and financial risks such as Forex and accounts receivable
  • Anticipate and control financial performance to achieve budgets and prepare outlooks
  • Analyze operating and financial performance and suggest corrective actions and way forward to management team
  • Ensure all legal compliances and promote internal control
  • Deliver accurate financial statements and management reports on time
  • Supervise accounting process and systems to ensure accurate recording and efficient control
  • Develop and upkeep team and staff motivation and competencies at least to the required professional levels, provide career growth to subordinates and prepare successors to CFO and key positions
  • Continue to improve efficiency in accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Effectively manage banks, board of director, suppliers, and other financial relationships
  • Assess and prepare oneself to take MD position in the future
