Job Title: Supply Chain planner
Industry: F&B or FMCG
Location: Dubai, UAE
To plan, raise & manage purchase orders according to the standard procedure - from order calculation, order placing, supplier communications and inbound tracking by working with Freight Forwarders.
Key Position Accountabilities
To collect, create & communicate all master data in ERP for all needed products following internal rules and process.
To ensure all import documentation is up-to-date and transmitted on time to all relevant parties
Process owner for Purchase Order creation
Plan and manage Purchase Orders accordingly to minimise out of stocks / maximise service levels
Keep ERP updated at all stages in the process
Create Purchase Orders in ERP in-line with the agreed purchasing rules (safety stock days, working capital)
Verifying order confirmation vs Purchase order (product, quantity, prices, availability)
Highlight variance of the shipping docs vs Purchase Order (product, quantity, prices, availability)
Ensure ERP is always up to date with correct ETD, ETA
Follow up on PO confirmation and highlighting unconfirmed PO's within target
To ensure that at all time, master data is updated & correct in all relevant systems.
To conduct monthly shipment plan meeting with the internal and external stake holders.
