Software Delivery Manager - £65K + 38 days AL + Flexible working

Software Delivery Manager required for an online entertainment company that creates, develops and markets interactive next-generation online applications, focused on delivery via web and native applications across mobile, tablet and desktop devices. They provide an established back-end platform handling payments and analytics, as well as the client applications themselves written in multiple languages across multiple platforms serving both their own proprietary b2c brands.

Seeking a Software Delivery Manager to manage the delivery of new features and user functionality onto their online platform - across web and native applications as well as supporting back office tools in accordance to the business strategy.

You will be managing multi-disciplinary software delivery teams, and working closely with product, design, operations, and customer support teams, to plan and execute delivery.

Using a delivery framework based on Agile delivery process you will be responsible for delivering the prioritised roadmap and feature backlog in partnership with the Product Owners. As a results driven individual you will manage the delivery all the way through to the production environment, driving sign-off and supporting releases.

Working with the Head of Delivery and technical team leads you will be actively involved in roadmap and resource planning, and will be responsible for maintaining and developing delivery plans. You will be proficient in risk and issue management and confident in driving forward action plans to mitigate and resolve delivery risks.

You must be comfortable running planning and estimation sessions, arranging demo / feedback sessions, and producing burndown / burn-up charts and data driven reports.

You must have a strong understanding of software development processes, specifically Agile, and the ability to deal with multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced business environment with a proven track record of delivery.

You will be the champion for our delivery processes and will be actively involved in identifying ways to continuously improve the delivery processes.

Ideally you will also have experience of using Jira and Confluence, and knowledge of the gaming industry would be beneficial.
