Job Description

A Luxury Retailer seeking a strong, dynamic and fresh thinking Senior IT Project Manager who will ensure the delivery of its Product, Distribution and Supply Chain projects- including projects that enable the correct stock to be delivered to the correct location in the store from our Distribution Centre - allowing increased efficiency of resupply whilst minimising stock held on the shop floor.

The role will provide project management expertise and lead internal and external teams from a variety of technical & business disciplines to deliver new systems and functionality to the business. This will not only involve the production of detailed plans and project documentation but also continual leadership of the project team through the provision of support and guidance.

Essential Skills include:

*Significant experience in managing large projects within the Supply chain and Product business domains.
*Formal Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP
*Rounded experience of IT Project Management - managing delivery through all stages of the lifecycle (Initiation, Analysis, Design, Build and Implementation - as well as associated methods and tools).
*JDA implementation experience essential or an equivalent
*PMP Qualified (desirable)
*Agile or Lean Certifications (desirable)
*Exposure to ERP Systems.
*Delivery experience using Agile and ability to integrate Agile delivery within a standard project framework
*Demonstrable track record with detailed experience in large and medium scale IT projects.
*In-depth knowledge of full systems lifecycle.
*Web / eCommerce implementation / migration
*Risk/Issue Management.
*Strong Governance - Quality, Budget, Timescales.
*Planning and Control skills, using recognised planning tools e.g. Microsoft Project, JIRA, TMS
*Relationship Management - Strong demonstrable capability to establish and sustain effective professional. relationships at all levels in the organisation with a focus on service delivery and clear communication to enable this.
*People Management - particularly influencing/managing people without direct authority.
*Excellent Stakeholder Management - able to demonstrate credibility with senior management and good conflict resolution skills.
*Excellent Change Management & Communication skills (both written and verbal).
*Experience in the management of suppliers including both the commercial and contractual relationships.
*Understanding technology roadmaps, trends and releases.
*Broad business knowledge including commercial, financial awareness so as to manage budgets effectively and construct business cases.
*Agile Certification e.g. Scrum, Kanban, APMG, XP is desirable
