About our client

Our client is one of the largest multinational luxury brands specializing in high-end jewelry, searching for an operational role of Merchandiser/Buyer equipped with problem-solving and teamwork skills. Key responsibilities include preparing orders of shipment related to customs and the receipt of merchandise.

 

Job Description

The expectations for this role include providing exclusive customer and cross-department communication, operational and warehouse inventory knowledge, and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Other responsibilities entitled to this role will be comprised of but not limited to:

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills in warehouse/operational management

· Ability to work with different departments in a team-oriented environment

· Provide exceptional customer service and support to drive sales and respond to inquiries regarding product/service information, repairs, shipping and inventory

· Efficiently perform tasks such as order fulfillment, shipping, receipt and replenishment of products in stock, and logistics or customs related work

· Use of reports for inventory assessment and management updates

 

A successful applicant should have the following qualifications:

· Previous experience of over 3-4 years in operational/warehouse management and working knowledge of logistics and custom practices, preferably in a luxury retail industry

· Understanding or prior usage of JDE systems

· Fluent written and verbal communication and analytical skills in English

· Enjoy working in a teams while also being individually motivated to work on own tasks

· Detailed-oriented and being a problem solver

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meeting deadlines

· Obtained a university/college degree

· Efficiently performs Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
