Job Description

My client is a global Fashion Retail Group that has many well-known fashion brands within it. They are looking for an IT Supervisor to help run the 3 offices and ~10 retail stores. The role will include some IT Support as well as dealing with and implementing new IT policies as well as some basic IT Infrastructure for new stores. You will work with the APAC Head of IT to implement new policies and standards for APAC (no previous experience in policy management needed).

Job Duties

  • Help the APAC Head of IT implement the HQ policy and standards to the offices and shop environments
  • Facilitate group brand new store opening project in HK & Mainland China area
  • Handle Global & Local IT projects in Local to ensure project delivery and quality
  • Monitor, supervise and follow-up IT supplier service level
  • Office Helpdesk & Store Helpdesk, provide 1st line technical support to users in different regions on system, software, hardware and networking issues
  • IT Services Ticket system management
  • Asset management, Inventory control of computer hardware and software
  • Facilitate IT infrastructure administration and configuration with help from HQ
  • Perform server administration, configuration, monitoring as well as system backup and checking
  • Define IT SOP and maintain knowledge base. Provide system training to user
  • Assist Manager to identify and review issues in existing business operation flows to improve efficiency
  • Perform ad-hoc assignment as required by Manager


  • Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Studies or equivalent with Retails experience
  • 5 years relevant experience with Retail related experience is an advantage
  • Valid certification of MCSE and CCNA is preferred
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is required)
  • Proficient in LAN/WAN, Windows Servers 2003 Active Directory, Networking and Security Issues, Backup/Restore infrastructure, VMware, Retail Pro
  • Proactive, excellent communication, interpersonal and user handling skills
  • Experience in managing IT Help Desk with HK or Mainland China offices
  • Experience in managing IT / Security supplier is preferred
