Exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a headline retailer in Central London.
You will be part of a team of Business Analysts defining and maintaining business processes and functions to be supported by a range of applications.
You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a consistent, clear and accurate set of business requirements and other agreed Business Analysis artefacts for Information Technology projects and programmes.

oBreak down complex problems into simple concepts, with the ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected and unrelated artefacts and conflicting information and pull it together into a cohesive whole.
oElicit requirements using a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business processes, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis.
oCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into detail, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
oProactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional/non-functional requirements and deliver artefacts as needed
oManage expectations and scope of work to ensure that realistic deliverables are achieved.
oSuccessfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
oDrive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans, and how technology will support their plans
oServe as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the development team through which requirements flow.
oDeliver requirement artefacts according to standard templates, including user stories, using business language, ensuring requirements are robust, unambiguous and testable
oCollaborate with IT Stakeholders such as the Architecture team, developers, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and ensure that solutions designed are fit for purpose and align to the technical strategy.
oDescribe and communicate the value of an initiative including its benefits and costs in terms used by the business that will effectively obtain leadership understanding, support and ultimately approval.
oChair and facilitate requirements gathering workshops, brainstorming sessions and demos.
