Our client is a top tier and leading life insurance company and this is an excellent opportunity to join their growing team in supporting the preparation of investment reports and analysis. This new headcount will be directly reporting to the Head of Investment Management, part of a small team and offers great flexibility and progression. It is an exciting role to work with different teams on new investment initiatives, as well as streamlining and enhancing investment reporting processes to strengthen performance tracking. This role will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory requirements & compliance with insurance regulations and internal guidelines, especially for regular monitoring of portfolio performance. Lastly, this role will be assisting in the analysis of the investment impacts of IFRS 17 and HK RBC II, so this role is expected to provide technical support and data analysis to formulate change in investment strategies.
To be considered, you must have a finance/investment background (with financial reporting and/or management reporting experience) from an insurance company, with a minimum of 5 years' experience. You must be a qualified accountant and have excellent communication skills as you will be frequently interacting with different business units. Also, good quantitative and analytical skills, as well as excellent command in VBA programming would be strongly preferred.
