Job Description

A well renowned luxury retailer is seeking a strong, dynamic and fresh thinking Senior HR Workday IT Project Manager who will ensure the delivery of its HR projects.

The role will provide project management expertise and lead internal and external teams from a variety of technical & business disciplines to deliver new systems and functionality to the business. This will not only involve the production of detailed plans and project documentation but also continual leadership of the project team through the provision of support and guidance.

You will bring experience in ensuring assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and allocated projects will involve close supplier management of key third parties such as IBM and others. Key stakeholders will include, but are not limited to, ecommerce trading, .net front end, user experience, IT, Product management, Marketing, Finance and Distribution.

Key Experience required includes:

*Significant experience in managing large projects within the retail sector.
*HR System implementation / migration
*Formal Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP
*Rounded experience of IT Project Management - managing delivery through all stages of the lifecycle (Initiation, Analysis, Design, Build and Implementation - as well as associated methods and tools).
*Degree qualified (desirable)
*PMP Qualified (desirable)
*Delivery experience using Agile and ability to integrate Agile delivery within a standard project framework
*Demonstrable track record with detailed experience in large and medium scale IT projects.
*In-depth knowledge of full systems lifecycle.
*Risk/Issue Management.
*Strong Governance - Quality, Budget, Timescales.
*Planning and Control skills, using recognised planning tools e.g. Microsoft Project, JIRA, TMS
*Relationship Management - Strong demonstrable capability to establish and sustain effective professional. relationships at all levels in the organisation with a focus on service delivery and clear communication to enable this.
*People Management - particularly influencing/managing people without direct authority.

Please be advised this is an IT role and will require knowledge of HR Systems and retail IT infrastructure.
