Job Description

We are recruiting for an exciting position for a very good client of ours. Currently hiring a Head of BD we are looking for an experienced Marketing & BD professional to join a well established team as part of a very well recognised law firm based in London. As the current predecessor has made such an impact to the team and practice group, this role has a great footing to truly add value. With a great group of partners that commend marketing and the value it brings to their business, you have the ability to work proactively on various campaigns and client targeting initiatives alongside the firm encouraging client exposure.

This position will be responsible for managing a team of two direct reports along side centralised teams for Bids, events and creative support. You will support partners and fee earners directly in order to grow their business, on a strategic level as well as working closely with your team to deliver on targeted campaigns. Whilst specialising in M&A, Capital Markets & Private Equity, you will also work collaboratively across the firms practice groups to identify and increase cross sell opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a number of years' experience supporting BD at a high level with global exposure within professional services, having the ability to build strong relationships and influence fee earners in day to day activity. Time management is key, whilst managing team activity and analysing areas of growth the ideal candidate will prioritise projects and initiatives as needed.
