Job Description

They have a highly profitable portfolio of businesses and are actively acquiring new investments in up and coming industries. With a business spanning, there is now an opening opportunity for a proactive and mature professional role as a Group Leaning and Development Manager who has ability to understand business needs and HR market trends in strategic way in order to build effective learning strategies to develop and enhance all people' capacities for all employees in the organization.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs and partner with business to develop on effective L&D strategies by identifying development needs, monitoring IDP processes, and designing programs with the most effective mix of learning approaches in the optimize learning cost
  • Identify competency development model, training needs, design and organize training and development program for employees
  • Monitor competency gap analysis, and share information by working closely with academy teams at the regional level to leverage expertise solutions at the optimize costs and ensure fairness among all business units
  • Adapt L&D strategy to address business needs, localize learning map, portfolio, and framework to ensure consistency of branding and structure
  • Research the latest learning & development trends and best practice to design and deliver learning program to business units with ability to influence L&D focus and decision making
  • Develop a learning organization culture by developing authentic relationships through generous listening, engaging learning activities, and learning community
  • Lead IDP campaign, follow up IDP, and ensure IDP is relevance and completion
  • Execute overall training process, needs assessment, development and/or outsource of training programs, and evaluation of the effectiveness of training
  • Support employees to learn from day-to-day activities and utilize the best equipment to enhance all managers to develop their team through effective learning tools
  • Ability to act as internal and external trainer at the regional level through developing a blended approach which integrates different learning modes, such as coaching, classroom instruction, on-the-job, online learning, networking, and action learning to create sustainable learning experiences
  • Develop and delivery management information reports to track and benchmark learning and development participation, costs, benefits, and etc.
  • Ensure all learning solutions are met by working in partnership with business units
  • Continuously measure and improve efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in HR Development / HROD / L&D / HR related field is preferred but not a requirement, Master would be an advantage
  • At least 10 years' experience in L&D in MNC and over 3 years in management level
  • Strong L&D, OD, Stakeholder Management, Leadership, and Coaching skills
  • Excellent in communication & negotiation skills both Thai & English language
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical & interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation, time management, self-management skills
  • Team player with great networking and influencing skills
  • THAI Nationality
