Global Workday HRIS Manager (HR Systems, HRIT, HCM, HRBP, HRIS)

Global Workday HRIS Manager required with a specialist background in HR information systems to join an award winning Data & Digital End Client.

This is a business critical position as we look to prioritize and update our technical systems and solutions to support our fast-paced growth.

The role provides the long and short-term strategic direction, strategic system build or buy decisions, design, implementation, maintenance, reporting, analytics and project management for all Human Resource Information Systems.

This role manages the entire suite of modules and will be responsible for integration and requirements to maximize value to the Company (Staffing, Employee Relations, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Performance, and Reporting and Analytics).

The role will work with Leadership and Stakeholders across the organization to identify gaps and needs of focus and deliver a best in class HRIS landscape that provides unparalleled transparency and user engagement. THE CHALLENGE

Build, Recommend And Maintain a Strategic Roadmap For The Human Resources Information Systems Initiatives And Steady State Activities To Ensure a Planned Approach, Including But Not Limited To

Define and implement an HRIS strategy that is aligned with overall global HR strategy

Create strategy, budget and forecast of HR System needs and applications. Lead the research and recommendation of new systems and software, ensure business cases are built to warrant investment

Provide end to end oversight of all HR system initiatives, with full accountability for planning, vendor selection & negotiations and implementation through to configuration including project management, support and issue management

Lead systems implementation of various technological advancements in the HR Systems area as needed. Partner with IT resources to design and support integrated solutions for the future.

Lead HRIS initiatives including communications and training for internal users related to system implementations to encourage behaviour changes and adoption

Provide technical consultation, expertise and oversight for the existing HR system and recommend and assist in implementing enhancements and procedures. Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate vendor(s) and or IT and drive to resolution

Maintain in depth knowledge of international employment law and data protection requirements including GDPR, liaising with the legal and privacy protection departments where necessary

Conduct regular and ad-hoc reporting, metrics production, and analysis to support internal customers, including development and enhancement of reporting dashboards for senior management

Oversee department functions and lead a team of currently 4 employees and the collaboration with the system development team of the currently used in-house developed HR system

YOUR PROFILE

Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in HRIS with demonstrated experience in leading and building up an HRIS function, end to end implementation and project management of multiple new HR systems including Workday

BS degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Management Information Systems, IT/Computer Science or Business

Proficient at handling multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced, results driven, fast changing environment

Strong project management skills and experience leading cross functional global projects and/or teams

Experience supporting multiple HR lines of business such as Compensation, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Operations, Payroll etc. required.
