Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for delivering high valued analysis/insight of existing and potential investments to senior business stakeholders to allow them to drive business decisions internally and with their partners. You will lead financial and management reporting in relation to partner banks including management packs and analysis as well as assisting in the delivery of high quality papers to the group in terms of the external market, competitors, regulatory update and partner banks performance. Working closely with the business through group finance, strategy and M&A teams will be critical to conduct regular impairment testing and ad hoc assessments.

Key Requirements

This is a varied business focused role and will require someone with extensive experience (10 - 15 years) within banking loans ( retail or corporate lending ) as well as an understanding of financial developments in emerging markets. You will need to be familiar with analyzing financial statements and board papers etc so you can truly understand and analyse what Is happening behind the numbers as well as a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and analysis. In addition you will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen coupled with strong communication skills to allow you to clearly explain technical matters to non technical senior stakeholders.
