Job Description

Our client is a world class leader in Reinsurance, with a high performing culture and due to excellent progress of the company they are looking to hire a Data Innovation Specialist. This is a unique regional, high-profile role which will be reporting with the Head of Data, adding value by conducting analysis and establishing processes affecting the business.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will be involved with a lot of exciting projects, as well as educating business units on existing and new data findings and analysis. You will take part in expanding and improving the data driven culture within the company by the development, validation and documentation of new data solutions. As your role is a high profile one, you will be responsible for creating data visualisations for executives, as well as being the main point of contact for responding to queries from different business units.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have an actuarial background and at least 4 years of strong business intelligence/data analytics experience. Also,

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Information Science or any related field
  • Life or Health Insurance industry experience and ASA/FSA qualifications would be a plus
  • Able to think out of the box and communicate well with different levels within the business
  • Excellent business sense and strong experience with projects
