Job description

The role of a Compliance Officer, based in Dubai is to make sure that the Company is conducting its business in full compliance with all national laws and regulations that pertain to its particular industry. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining compliance in the countries the company operates in and managing the bidding process to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency of the tender to proposal submission process. The Compliance Manager will work in close cooperation with the Finance Director of the Middle East, based in Dubai. Also work closely with client head, our clients, and at times pro-actively intervene in the process with a view to de-bottleneck critical activities.
The position requires a result driven, detail-oriented person with proven multi-tasking abilities, challenges practices when appropriate and processes routine work with speed and accuracy.
The candidate must have an ability to adhere to strict deadlines together with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff both internally and externally, and at a senior level. The candidate will be a proven disciplined process manager in a flexible dynamic environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Compliance
Ensure that the Company is aligned with the applicable laws, regulations, regulatory rules, as well as
the bank's policies. The main purpose is to mitigate the risk of regulatory enforcement actions
Manage Company Compliance & Labour activities as per local requirements
Respond promptly to any request / inquiry made by regulators, and act as the main point of
contact regarding regulatory matters
Coordinate registration of new Company entities, collaborating closely with the Finance Director,
International Tax and EMEA Legal team
Coordinate all supporting documents required for regional compliance
Manage Company's relationship with local legal advisors to ensure paperwork is up to date
Manage relationship with the local GRO and assign requests as necessary
Ensure the timely issuance and renewal of licenses and certificates in Qatar, Saudi Arabia,
UAE and other countries Company is operating in
Prepare regional compliance dashboard and notify management of any delays
