Job Description


  • Compliance monitoring of key controls to ensure internal audit points are cleared, addressed and complied with
  • Assist with implementation of new processes or procedure due to regulatory change imposed by the branch
  • Conduct walk through of key processes and perform validation work regarding work processes
  • Manage internal compliance audits and thematic reviews
  • Deliver compliance training for key compliance issues where necessary
  • Liaise with local regulators on regulatory requirements & expectations; as well as to liaise with internal & external auditors
  • Ensure reporting and compliance obligations are adequately monitored and managed through the use of a compliance calendar
  • Assist with the identification of operational risks that potentially exposes to regulatory or other legal sanctions, client complaints, adverse publicity or litigation or otherwise adversely affect the Branches
  • Communicate with external organizations such as insurance trade organisations or counterparts of cedant companies where necessary


  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 6 years' experience in Audit, Control Testing or Compliance duties
  • Good understanding of HK regulations for Insurers/Reinsurers
  • Excellent understanding of reporting requirements and practices
  • Passionate to build a long term career in the insurance field
  • Ability to hold meaningful conversations with Senior Stakeholders backed by sound reasonings
  • Driven, ambitious, with interest to take on bigger responsibilities in the compliance function
