Job Description

Job Title: Commercial & Compliance Senior Specialist for a global management consulting firm

Location: Dubai

Risk and Compliance:

· Coordinates requirements to ensure the proper implementation of Public Sector (PS) risk management protocols, working closely with the concerned risk bodies (local and global) and practice leadership team

· Supports risk reviews of account plans and specific client opportunities as appropriate

· Supports the development and implementation of the core PS risk register system (concept, process, IT requirements)

· Manages and maintains the ME PS risk register for all qualifying opportunities (ongoing and upcoming), implementing the core risk assessment tools (client, opportunity, risk readiness)

· Supports and ensures compliance with the respective risk RAPIDs (local and global)

· Supports the people certification process for local staff - in line with agreed protocols

· Ensures implementation of agree-upon protocols to ensure visibility over pipeline, PPI and meetings

Commercial Support:

· Supports the commercial activities of the PS practice, working closely with the practice leadership team (Partners, Principals and Managers)

· Tendering and Pipeline:

· Supports external commercial engagement, including registrations, tendering and contracting and ensures compliance with the tendering process internally and externally

· Supports opportunity identification, tracking and pipeline management

· Supports Bid management, contract closure and compliance

· Proposal management and support:

· Manages documentation (credentials, qualification, team CVs) related to pitch development/ RFP submission in coordination with the required support functions (Finance, Legal, HR) and practice team members

· Supports the codification of PS IP, qualifications, CVs - working closely with the practice leadership team

· Helps address specific questions and documentation relating to tender processes, working closely with Finance and other departments as appropriate

· Best practice / knowledge management:

· Helps define and maintain PS ME Practice knowledge taxonomy

· Maps experts, cases and IP against taxonomy

· Captures transferable lessons learned

· Consulting Support Staff (CSS) processes support:

· Support the practice leadership in engaging CSS teams across the case lifecycle (legal/contractual, HR, staffing, etc.)

· Liaison for invoices and collections, 3rd party SME support, staffing and resource tracking, etc.

· Business intelligence

· Support development of periodical analysis of practice pipeline, case economics and other relevant elements across accounts and associated cases

Practice Ad-Hoc Support:

· Provides overall support to the practice leadership - around core elements of practice operations (PS dashboard, revenue, pipeline, GXC toolkit maintenance)

· Supports planning processes, working closely with the Finance team, and helps track/execute on Practice goals

· Supports practice events and meetings (weekly briefs, monthly and quarterly meetings) - in terms of content and logistics

· Teams effectively with consulting staff and CSS functions

Reporting lines and main interfaces

· Reports to ME PS Practice leadership and local risk body

· Serves PS leadership team

· Closely engaged with relevant CSS leaders, especially ME Finance and Legal, and global Risk
