Job Description

This global Health Insurer is expanding! Due to this growth they are currently seeking to add a Service Account Manager, within their claims function. This role will see you overseeing The Third Party Claims Adminstrator. You will need to have strong communication skills, for both external and internal purposes, with fluency on both Cantonese and English.

In addition to overseeing the TPA activities, you will also have health claims oversight and management, production of reports, looking at process improvements, providing training to the TPA, working with the TPA to improve delivery. Ensuring all customers are at the forefront of all processess and communications

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support the SLA delivery of service by the TPA in Hong Kong

  • Claims receipt and turnaround time
  • Pending claims
  • Telephony service
  • Quality of claims decisions and the delivery of decisions
  • Quality of claims and administrative servicing
  • Payment turnover time

Review claims processess for best practice and customer experience

Review and approve health claims up to agreed amounts

Work with insurance company (the customer) to deliver quality service

Build relationships with the key stakeholders and represent the company locally in Hong Kong


Effectiveness of delivery is measure against but not limited to

  • Successful delivery of TPA SLA's and associated activties
  • Confident and clear delivery of medical information which is relevant to the successful selling of the product
  • Excellent product knowledge including how the supporting processess to each product work in practice
  • Reduction of compliants regarding misunderstanding of product features by sales team
