Job Description

Our Client is a well-known Insurance company in Thailand. They are looking for individuals who have strong experience in Risk Management to join them as ''Chief Risk Officer'' to promote a culture of risk awareness across all level of the organization.


  • Conduct risk assessment for both internal and external and implications toward company business.
  • Measure, analyse, control and provide justifications and corresponding control measures in terms of organisation risk to be at the level in accordance with Regional and Local policies
  • Escalate to the Risk Management Committee in a timely manner.
  • Responsible the risk management framework including credit, investment, market, operational risk.
  • Report the implementation of activities under the risk management framework and the status of main risks to the senior management and committee.
  • Establish and maintain a risk data management and reporting framework that allows to offer objective reporting to the committee;
  • Oversee the development and execution of risk mitigation programs and strategies and independently and objectively assesses the Company's risk exposures;
  • Facilitate formalization of risk management framework
  • Develop risk management tools, systems and process
  • Design, develop, document, and maintain business continuity plans
  • Supervise Business Continuity Management plans testing and document the outcomes, service improvements, and work towards resolution
  • Ensure compliance to standard operation procedures, workflow process, and procedures


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in risk management (credit, investment, market, operational risk) and experience in management level (preferable in life insurance of financial services industry)
  • Experienced in business continuity management
  • Risk management professional certification would be an asset
  • Strong people management and interpersonal skill with proven experienced of motivation direct and indirect teams
  • Excellent command of English communication
