Job Description

Reporting to the Business Analysis Manager you will be part of a team of Business Analysts defining and maintaining business processes and functions to be supported by a range of applications. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a consistent, clear and accurate set of business requirements and other agreed Business Analysis artefacts for Information Technology projects and programmes.

You will develop plans and proposals for the steps to be taken (including technology selection/ development) to realise the business requirements and at the same time develop, support and improve existing standards for Business Analysis processes and deliverables.

With a keen eye for detail you will be able to work effectively and deliver outputs in a dynamic environment whilst managing multiple priorities. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills in both written and oral form. These are essential as you and your team collect, analyse, understand, challenge, champion and communicate the agreed interrelated business requirements for multiple projects across a complex programme of work.

Essential Skills:
At least 2-3 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
A thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements, including writing test driven requirements specifications
Requirement analysis skills that ensure the prioritization, verification and validation of requirements to:
oSupport the delivery of business value
oValidate that project / programme goals and objectives are aligned to the Business Strategy
oFulfil project / programme goals and objectives and
oMeet stakeholder needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Proven experience in planning and managing your workload, ensuring timely delivery for all business analysis activities, including measuring and reporting on the quality of the business analysis work
Well-developed influencing and decision making skills, showing clear leadership when it comes to driving out the definition of a problem and its solution
Proven experience of working across the full project lifecycle (from initiation through to benefits realization) within both structured and agile project environments
Knowledge of data structures and data models
