Job Description

Our client, one of Hong Kong's first leading Virtual Banks, is looking for a AML Manager (Payment/Transaction Monitoring). He / She will be responsible to build up the Virtual Bank's AML function for their Operations team from ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as 1st line of defense
  • Responsible for reviewing / analyzing system alerts and incident reports
  • Conducting further enquiries / investigations and making suspicious transaction reports to the relevant authority in a professional and efficient manner
  • Advising business units / operations on potential name hits in connection with JFIU reported cases and the appropriate course of action
  • Conducting quality assurance on MIS reports completed by business units and providing assurance review result
  • Supporting the Bank's AML/CTF related tasks / projects; such as the periodic review and enhancement of the Bank's TM systems to ensure their ongoing effectiveness
  • Check and complete the processing of remittance (inward / outward CHATS & TT), fund transfer and related activities (including MIS and regulatory reporting) in accordance with the established procedures & risk control, bank policies & guidelines, service standards

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum five years' banking experience, with good knowledge of payment screening, compliance, and operational risk management
  • Conversant with the regulatory requirements pertaining to payment, remittance processing
  • Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
