An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a solid managed service provider as part of their brilliant fleet of field engineers.
My client is ranked within the top 5 European and top 50 global managed services suppliers and are currently operating in 13 countries across the globe.
An opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Field Engineer working onsite with a large client who is based in the Reading area with six other sites in London, the South Coast and Midlands.
The successful candidate must have recent experience in providing quality 2nd line technical support on incidents and have escalated problems.
The must haves:
- Previous experience of providing IT Support in a commercial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting the following
- Microsoft Exchange; Active Directory; Office 365; Windows Servers (full range); Server Virtualisation (HyperV / VMWare); Local Area Networking; Symantec Products; Cisco LAN/WAN (routers, switches, ASAs); Routing / switching equipment including, but not limited to, Cisco, Dell, HP switches, routers and firewalls; Citrix ( XenApp/XenDesktop)
Please note, this is a field based role, so all applicants must be prepared to travel 2 days per week (all travel costs are reimbursed)
